New Gneration Mobiles- Can Diagnose Viral Infections 📱 📞

Instant Technology to Help Diagnose Viral Infections

Recently Scientists has developed a new miniature, portable gene sequencing tech. that can diagnose infection from viruses such as Ebola or Zika almost instantly in the field. This research is found to be a new achievement attained by Humans in the technology world.

This Diagnose is both quick and early, which avoids the need to transfer contaminated samples, said by researchers.

"The technology is characterized by the production of long nucleotide sequences, which makes it possible to sequence the entire viral genome," said Philippe Roumagnac, a virologist at The French Agricultural Research Centre for International Development (CIRAD).

CIRAD was one of the first laboratories in the world to test and validate its use in plant virology, Researches said.

"Using a diseased yam plant, it took us just a few hours to sequence the entire genome of two single-strand RNA viruses, a macrovirus and a potyvirus," said Denis Filloux from CIRAD.

As with Human Virology, the fact that the technology has now been validated in a plant virology laboratory paves the way for real-time, mobile detection of chronic, seasonal or emerging plant viruses, even in isolated areas, researchers said.

By shortening the time that elapses between sampling and diagnosis, the technology will help detect harmful organisms at an earlier stage, they said.

Many new generation phones also have an Integrated lab on a chip to detect multiple Pathogens, HIV and infections and to treat humans with depressions.

All this shows that as time is passing by new technology is introduced to reduce the burden or human work. Their main motive is to ease human life and for that scientists are doing a lot of work and are introducing new inventions.

GSAT-7A on the GO!!!🛰

GSAT-7A had been successfully launched by ISRO from Sriharikota.

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) launched the country's newest satellite GSAT-7A from the second launch pad of Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Andhra Pradesh's Sriharikota. It is believed that the 2,250 Kilogram geostationary communication satellite will give a boost to the Defence forces communication capabilities.

About:

The GSAT satellites are India's indigenously developed communication satellites, used for digital audio, data and video broadcasting. As of 5 December 2018, 20 GSAT satellites of ISRO have been launched out of which 14 satellites are currently in service.

The GSAT series of geosynchronous satellites is a system developed by ISRO with an objective to make India self-reliant in broadcasting services. The repertoire of 10 GSAT satellites, a total of 168 transponders in the C, Extended C and Ku-bands provide services to telecommunications, Television broadcasting, weather forecasting, disaster warning and search and rescue operations.
